Paintings
IMGallery focuses exclusively on original paintings. You will not find reproductions or limited-edition prints here — every artwork is an original piece with its own story, technique, and artist we proudly stand behind.
We represent artists from different generations and artistic approaches: from the expressive oil paintings of Jitka Nesnídalová and the surreal worlds of Klára Sedlo, to the quiet still lifes of Kristina Karmazínová and the landscape- and introspection-inspired works of Ondřej Tkačík. What connects them all is a dedication to craftsmanship and a distinctive perspective on the world.

Kristina Karmazínová
The work of Kristina Karmazínová (*1977, Znojmo) balances between painting and drawing. She studied at the Václav Hollar Secondary School of Art in Prague and scenography at DAMU, which shaped her visual language – she combines precise drawing with expressive imagery. In his work, he deals with the themes of the inner world, silence, nature and transience. She prefers the pastel technique, which allows her to capture subtle transitions and emotional depth. Her paintings are introspective and sensitive, suggesting rather than explaining and opening up a space for quiet perception.

Ondřej Tkačík
Ondřej Tkačík (*1981, Ostrava) is a painter and educator, and a graduate of the Painting I studio led by Prof. Jiří Sopko at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He lives and works in Hlučín. His artistic practice explores the theme of perspective — working from the “ground plan” of landscape through both cohesive and open-ended series of paintings. Among his most notable bodies of work are Prisma, From the Cave, Landscape with Words, and the long-term Heads cycle, in which Tkačík creates compelling introspective self-portraits through recordings of mental states and inner awareness.
